Message from the President You fill in after the hyphen, e-whatever has become the environment of the most recent meetings. It is the evolution of communications. ACC has followed this trend through the years and continues with each meeting. It seems only recently that I was introduced to this fine organization, yet back then marketing communication messages were tortoises compared to the world reviewed at the recent meeting in San Diego. The caliber of the corporations and agencies represented in ACC is impressive, but membership growth is imperative. As companies must communicate with customers and businesses that install, purchase, sell and use their products, we must improve as communicators. We can do that with the exposure and influence derived from ACC meetings. If every member reaches out to encourage another company's communicator to join, everyone will benefit from expanded exposure to the best industry spokespersons and information providers. I hope each member will be able to attend the meeting in Charleston, S.C., September 17-19, and can bring a prospective new member. Bring your sense of humor too, as it is always fun to network with this talented group. Special thanks to Allen Keebaugh from the entire ACC for a job well done as past president.
