ACC Supports Aftermarket Design Marketing/Communications Awards

Chicago, IL, Sept. 1, 2004 - The Automotive Communications Council (ACC) announced its support of the 10th Annual Automotive Aftermarket Global Design Awards, presented by Aftermarket Business and the new Automotive Communications Awards, presented by the Car Care Council Women's Board.

The Global Design Awards is the premier design competition for automotive aftermarket products. Categories include: packaging, print advertising, merchandising & displays, promotions, brand logotypes and home page/Web advertising. ACC will provide judges, who will select best of show, gold, silver and bronze winners in each category. Best of show winners will be awarded at a press conference on Wednesday, Nov. 3 during the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. All gold, silver, bronze and best of show winners will be featured in the November issue of Aftermarket Business.

The Automotive Communications Awards is divided into business-to-consumer and business-to-business creative efforts. The business-to-consumer awards feature 14 categories for entry that target female consumers. Examples include car care clinics, direct mail pieces or campaign/newsletter. The business-to-business awards, which will be judged by ACC, consist of 12 categories such as logo design, special promotions and promotional events/trade show. These awards will be presented during the Women's Board reception on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at AAPEX.
