Automotive Communication Council Committees

Executive

This committee is responsible for the overall leadership of ACC. The committee consists of the officers of ACC, including President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Past Chairman.

Meeting Sites

This committee is responsible for selecting the sites for the semi-annual meetings and coordinating all social functions at each meeting.

Membership

The committee is responsible for handling all correspondence relating to membership, keeping a current membership roster, recruiting new members, and distributing membership applications.

Public Relations

The committee is responsible for keeping the trade media apprised of ACC activities which would be of interest to automotive readers.

Internet

The committee is responsible for developing and administering the ACC Online Web site.

Bylaws and Constitution

The committee is responsible for maintaining and updating the articles of the ACC constitution and bylaws.

Meeting Agenda

The committee is responsible for planning the agenda, obtaining speakers and developing workshops for the semi-annual meetings. The committee is made up of the immediate Past President, First Vice President, and Second Vice President. Other council members are encouraged to participate within the committee.

Marketing Awards

This committee is responsible for administering an awards program which honors outstanding marketing communications efforts by Council members.

History

This committee is responsible for maintaining and preserving the organization's historical archives.
