History & Commitment to Education

Founded in 1941, the Automotive Communications Council is the oldest continuously operating council in the aftermarket. Although our roots are in the aftermarket, today our membership extends throughout the broad automotive industry. The ACC has always been a proud supporter of education, providing a scholarship fund for a marketing/communication student with interest in the automotive market. Our involvement with the Automotive Communications Awards has kept members abreast of the best marketing and communications campaigns in the industry. Members of the ACC serve as judges for these prestigious industry awards, gaining great insight into new ideas and best practices. Our educational Webinars give attendees an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in traditional marketing, social media and other web-based marketing initiatives.
